Brampton students shined at 2017 NASA Ames Space Settlement Contest.

Five students from Central Peel Secondary School-

Kanav Arora, Rinay Shah, Vishvam Mazumdar, Vraj Patel​ and Vyshna Krishnakumar won second prize at 2017 NASA Ames Space Settlement Contest being the only Canadian team to win a prize in the competition.

The students, all 17, created detailed plans for a settlement that would sustain life while orbiting a planet.The team chose Mars for their Planet.
