Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today greeted the people of Punjab on the auspicious ‘Parshuram Jayanti’.
In a message, Captain Amarinder Singh exhorted the people to imbibe the ideals propagated by Bhagwan Parshuram ji to lead an ideal life in the society. Bhagwan Parshuram ji unequivocally stood to uphold the basic tenets of religion, truth, universal love, compassion and righteousness. The Chief Minister said “The life and philosophy of Parshuram ji teach us to fight injustice with all our might”.
Captain Amarinder Singh also appealed to the people to celebrate this sacred occasion collectively by rising above the parochial considerations of caste, colour, creed and religion.
