Due to the unfavourable weather, the Toronto Air Show was cancelled on Sunday
The Canadian International Air Show, which takes place above Toronto's waterfront each year as summer winds down was postponed on Sunday due to bad weather.

“Safety is of paramount importance to the Canadian International Air Show,” According to a statement. “Due to current conditions we have been cancelled the safety of our performers, crews and spectators.”
“We will provide updates regarding the status of any future shows.”
On September 3, 4, and 5, the air show was scheduled to take place from 12 to 3 p.m., capping off the Canadian National Exhibition and marking the long weekend of Labor Day.

Soon after 12 o'clock, notifications from CIAS Toronto started to appear on social media, stating that shows would go on as long as they met with "minimum safety requirements." At the time, they issued a warning that the schedule might change. Throughout the ensuing hours, due to the cloudy and rainy weather, shows were either cancelled or postponed.
Prior to the postponement, Kyle Fowler, an air show pilot who was permitted to fly on Sunday informed CP24 that the weather was foggy and unfavorable.
“It wasn’t great,” he stated. “I was fortunate enough that I got to go up in the air. I went up first to go do a weather check.”
“The minimum ceiling we need is 1,000 feet. When I took off out to the east, we definitely didn’t have that.”
According to Fowler, some of the safety margins for the other planes are larger, so as of 1:30 p.m., he was the only one who could fly.
“I mean it’s so disappointing. We absolutely love what we do,” he said. “we love to entertain the people.”
“It’s very disappointing for all of us.”
