Heavily-armed Peel Regional Police were in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Kennedy Road just before 4 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a gunpoint bank robbery.
Police say they were called to the bank after a man covered his face and robbed a teller at gunpoint. Police said that there were customers inside the bank at the time, but no injuries were reported.
The Tactical Unit and a police dog were on scene attempting to track a suspect. The robber got away on foot.
