Walmart, high school evacuated in Caledon, Ont. after threat about explosive device
After police claimed to have learned of a potential bomb threat, a Walmart and high school in Caledon, Ontario were evacuated on Wednesday.
Just before 12 o'clock in the afternoon, Mayfield Secondary School, which is located near Mayfield and Bramalea roads, was where Ontario Provincial Police Inspector Mary Louise Kearns first notified of the threat.
As a result, authorities said that Mayfield Secondary School and the adjoining Walmart were both evacuated.
Due to the investigation, several roads had been closed, and People were asked to stay away from the area.

Officers thoroughly searched Mayfield Secondary School later that day, but they found no explosives there, and officers have since cleared the location.
