Salmonella Outbreak Traced to Cantaloupes Claims Seven Lives: Public Health Alert in Canada

In a recent announcement, the Public Health Agency of Canada has confirmed a distressing surge in a salmonella outbreak associated with the consumption of cantaloupes. The outbreak, alarming in its reach and impact, has resulted in an additional fatality, elevating the grim toll to seven unfortunate deaths. With a heavy heart, the agency discloses a total of 164 confirmed cases of salmonella across eight provinces, all inexorably linked to the consumption of Malichita and Rudy brand cantaloupes.
