38 year old Man hit by train in Brampton
A 38-year-old Brampton man is in life-threatening condition after being hit by a train early Tuesday morning.
Peel Region Paramedics rushed the victim to Pearson International Airport to meet up with an air ambulance, which transported him to a Toronto trauma centre.
Police said they were called to the train tracks in the area of James Street and John Street, near Brampton's downtown core, just before 4 a.m.
A police spokesperson said the victim may have been suffering from a mental health-related issue at the time.
