Sikh Businessman Harjit Singh Dhadda Fatally Shot in Mississauga

Harjit Singh Dhadda, a well-known figure in the community and a prominent Sikh businessman, was shot multiple times outside his office in Mississauga earlier today.

The incident occurred shortly before noon in the area of Tranmere Drive and Telford Way, near Dixie and Derry Road.

According to Peel Police, officers found a man believed to be in his 40s in serious condition. He later died on the way to the hospital.

Dhadda, originally from Bazpur (Uttarakhand), had been working in the field of trucking safety and compliance.

Reports suggest that he had been facing threats and ransom demands for some time, and had previously filed complaints with the police.
