Pedestrian dies after being struck by train in Woodstock
The Woodstock Police Service has confirmed that a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train on Friday.
Emergency crews responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m. on Wilson Street, just south of Hounsfield Street.
Wilson Street was closed for several hours to allow for a police investigation but has since reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details are being released at this time.
