Punjabi Father-Daughter Die in Calgary House Fire

A tragic fire broke out at a Punjabi family's home in the northeast Calgary neighborhood of Taradale, resulting in the deaths of a father and his young daughter. Calgary Fire Department spokesperson Carol Henke confirmed that 50-year-old Sunny Gill died at the scene, while his 9-year-old daughter Hargun was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
