Region of Peel – The Central Robbery Bureau (C.R.B.) has arrested and charged two individuals in relation to an armed carjacking in Mississauga.
It is alleged that on Thursday, June 19, 2025, two suspects approached the victim as he exited his vehicle on the driveway of a residence on Mineola Road. One suspect was armed with a knife, and the other claimed to have a gun. They made demands for the victim's vehicle keys, watch, and cell phone. The suspects then fled in the victim's vehicle, a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Maybach. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The victim's vehicle was recovered by police the next day.
Investigators identified an initial suspect and, following a search warrant at a residence in Brampton in July 19-year-old Ekamveer Randhawa was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Robbery
Wear Disguise with Intent
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
On Aug. 28, the second suspect, 20-year-old Parth Sharma of Oakville was arrested and charged with the following Criminal code offences:
Robbery
Wear Disguise with Intent
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Drive while Disqualified.
Both were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice
