Canadian passports will soon have more than two boxes for gender identity.

Minister of Justice, Jody Wilson-Raybould said that Canadian passport will have new marker for transgender travellers.She has added that the government is working to update its gender identity policies right across federal departments, and they will include a revamped travel document.

Transgender travellers will soon have another option to tick off on their passport other than "male" or "female."
