Mississauga hit-and-run results in the death of a female pedestrian

As per Peel Regional Police, a hit-and-run accident in Mississauga early on Thursday morning resulted in the death of Navneet Kaur Billing.

According to police, they got a call at 5:35 a.m. reporting that someone had been hit at Tomken and Britannia roads.

While being transported to the hospital, an elderly woman was declared deceased, according to the police.

According to the police, the driver's car travelled south on Tomken Road. There has not yet been a description of the suspect or the car.

During the police investigation, Tomken Road was completely closed in both directions at Britannia Road.
