Today is special as it marks Canada’s 151st birthday! It is a day to come together to reflect on our great history and our bright future.

Thanks to the hard work and understanding between our many diverse communities, Canada is the compassionate and inclusive country that we are proud to call home. Values like kindness, generosity and respect are part of our shared identity.

I encourage everyone to celebrate by taking part in today’s festivities, whether it be exploring Canada’s rich history and heritage, or watching an amazing fireworks show. Let’s show how proud we are to be a Canadian!
