The 42nd Ontario general election was held on June 7, 2018, to elect the 124 members of the 42nd Parliament of Ontario.

Let us take a look at who won in Brampton.

Brampton East:

NDP Candidate Gurratan Sing bagged Brampton East seat with 17,606 votes. Gurratan Singh, a lawyer, emphasized a commitment to “justice and equity."

Brampton North: Former weather network personality Kevin Yarde earned the Brampton North Seat beating PC Candidate Ripudaman Dhillon and Liberal's Harinder Malhi.“I just want to say to the people of Brampton North, to those of you who voted for me and those of you who didn’t vote for me, I’m going to be a strong advocate for you at Queen’s Park,” Yarde told an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at the Bombay Palace Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Brampton after the final tally was announced.

Brampton Centre:

Brampton South:

The clear winner of Brampton South is PC candidate Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria.“This is more than just a win for me, it’s a movement that we’ve created,” said Sarkaria, a corporate and commercial Associate at Miller Thomson LLP. Brampton West:
