After Summerlicious the three day weekend Carnival Asialicious is back in Toronto with the most exciting Asian theme food and variety of exotic performances taking place at the Woodside Square in Scarborough from September 9.
This year, there are more than 100 venues taking part in Asialicious in Toronto, including bubble tea shops, bakeries, restaurants, dessert spots, and fast food eateries.
Asialicious has become an annual attraction celebrating multiculturalism in a fun and entertaining manner showcasing a variety of performances and ethnic foods to highlight the rich diversity of Asian culture and heritage.
TORA, Bar'kada, Goa Indian Farm Kitchen, House of Gourmet, Islas, Kyoto Katsugyu, Sukhothai, and Tam are among the restaurants taking part in the festival.
Among Bubble Hi Tea, Icha and Cuppa Tea are participating. The majority of bubble tea restaurants are either bundling sweets with their beverages or offering a deal on numerous drinks for $10 or $20.
For dessert options, there's Milkcow, Millie and Sugar Marmalade.
Asialicious carnival also presents a series of fun and exciting workshops for seniors including Taichi, eating health, mental health and laughter yoga.
Previous Asialicious Carnivals have featured over 50 food vendors and over 25,000 audience, expected to be more crowded this year.
The Asialicious Carnival takes place on Sept. 9 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sept. 11 from 11.a.m. to 6 p.m. The carnival is completely free to attend, and is on rain or shine.
