The UCP emerges victorious with a majority in the Alberta Election 2023.

Out of the 87 ridings in Alberta, 26 are allocated to the Calgary area, and a few remain without any representation.

The two major parties, the United Conservative Party (UCP) led by Danielle Smith and the New Democratic Party (NDP) led by Rachel Notley, have divided the popular vote. The UCP has maintained a strong presence in its traditional rural base, while the NDP has gained significant dominance in Edmonton.

In terms of seat distribution, the UCP has secured a majority government by winning 49 seats, while the NDP has attained 38 seats.

In terms of the popular vote, the UCP received 52.59% of the votes, while the NDP garnered just over 44% support.
