Federal election campaign to officially kick off Wednesday

Ottawa— Federal election campaign will officially kick off Wednesday and the stage will be set for the official campaign for the Oct. 21 election.

Prime Minster Justin Trudeau expected to seek a dissolution of parliament.

According to the information, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will visit the Governor General Julie Payette at Rideau Hall Wednesday at 10 am ET to set in motion the process to dissolve Parliament and launch the election.
