Prominent Abohar Cloth Merchant, Sanjay Verma Shot Dead
In a shocking incident this morning, Sanjay Verma, a well-known cloth trader and owner of designer brand Wear Well in Abohar, was shot dead outside his showroom.
According to eyewitnesses, attackers were already waiting near the premises and opened indiscriminate fire as soon as Verma arrived.
He was critically injured in the firing and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Police have launched an investigation and are scanning CCTV footage to identify the assailants.
