Severe thunderstorm warning over for Calgary

A severe thunderstorm warning has ended for the city of Calgary.

Sean Fraser, a spokesperson for YYC Food Trucks, said they are monitoring the weather in relation to a Toronto Raptors-Golden State Warriors viewing party set to be held at Fort Calgary.

Should there be any thunder or lightning, Fraser said the event would be cancelled.

Environment Canada warns people to take cover immediately in the case of a thunderstorm.
